The house where Adolf Hitler lived was turned into a museum and it is opened to the public. Here you will see many items that belonged to the man who was born in Braunau Am Inn on April 20, 1889, around 6:30 p.m.. The thriving and for some also fearful history is ​​available for tourists. Those who come there will discover other information about Hitler that they dodn’t know until visiting the museum. The house has a stone memorial in front, close to the sidewalk. It is said that Hitler would have been born in the third room on the left on the top floor. In 2002 to the building were made ​​a few changes, as it is not in a very good condition.

The Tower of Braunau Am Inn is located in the south of the main square and is dating from the sixteenth century. It is only a small fraction of what once existed in this city, being architecturally very interesting. Although the building is not as strong as it was once, it is standing haughty, in the memory of what once meant Braunau Am Inn. Tourists stop here especially to take pictures, but also to admire the walls. The tower is a symbol of the city, so it must be seen. In the past, the roof was used as an observation point to see the approaching enemies or if a fire suddenly broke out. There is even a bell that was beaten in any emergency situation.

A stop at the Tower of Braunau Am Inn is very appropriate when you arrive in this city. Thus, you can enjoy one of the few pieces of history that is still standing.
