One of the best restaurants in Vienna that serves very delicious Asian and Pacific Rim cuisines is the Hansen. It is in the Inner City and when you are in Vienna, the Inner City is ‘Innere Stadt’ in the heart of the historic downtown. Also Hansen is right at the basement of Vienna’s stock exchange building. It has an old-world charm that meets with a light-filled greenhouse. Palate-pleaseing is not enough to describe this place’s cuisines. They serve breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Korso bei der Oper is another that is worth waiting for. It has a beautiful ambience and surroundings. Both Hansen and Korso bei der Oper are with an opulent interior design. Do not be shock if the next course takes too long to be served. To some it might be a little expensive, but most people commented it is memorable. This place certainly provides an excellent service with attentive waiters.

Up next is The Dining Room that serves Mediterranean and International cuisines. It is located in an outer residential 13th District, it is like entering the dining room of a private home, like an informal family dinner. This dining place is between the Vienna Woods and the Schönbrunn Castle. The other restaurant called IIona Stuberl is another good place on the side street of Brauner Strasse and they serve excellent food. The service is friendly and you can find very authentic Goulash by a Hungarian family who left Hungary in the 1956. Be sure to have a small shot of apricot schnapps or Palinka (a kind of fruit brandy) that topped off the meal. The other dishes that are recommended include the white bean goulash with pork cutlet and pickled cabbage salad. Paprika chicken is also a great dish for those who have not try it yet. Other than the heartwarming goulash soup, you can try the meat-filled Hungarian crepe or ‘palacsinta’ topped with paprika sauce. You must also try their roast beef.
